Peggy Cernuch, Practice Manager, Kingdom Animal Hospital

Peggy has been at Kingdom Animal Hospital since 1993. She has been in the veterinary industry for over 33 years working in clinics from Receptionist to Technician to now Practice Manager. She enjoys her farm menagerie of 4 horses, 7 cats and 4 dogs most of whom were rescues. She and her husband Mike of 30 years also enjoy fishing, playing music, and riding motorcycles.

Donna Hamilton, Office Manager, Kingdom Animal Hospital

I have been a member of the Kingdom Animal Hospital staff since 1996. I had worked at a clinic in McAllen for 7 years prior to that. I have enjoyed the opportunity to help the pets, their owners and the friendships that I have developed through the clinic. My husband and I have 4 dogs and probably have the only hunting dog that enjoys going fishing.

Kassie Smith, Head Technician, Kingdom Animal Hospital

Kassie Smith, from Williamsburg Virginia, has been working in the veterinary field since 2001. She is currently working on her undergraduate studies and applying soon into the Pharmacy School Program at the University of Texas at Austin.

Married to Shawn with two children and their dog, Barron (the handsome dog pictured to the right).

Howdy, My name is Michelle Dittfurth and I'm from Franklin, Texas. I am a graduate of The Texas Academy of Animal Control Officers and have worked as an Animal Control Officer before join Kingdom Animal Hospital in Feb. 2013. I'm no stranger when it comes to animals, I was raised on a farm and have experience with many different kinds of animals and I have plenty of my own pets which include 3 dogs 4 horses and 1 cat. Animals are a passion of mine and each holds a special place in my heart whether it be my own pets or the ones that i take care of.

Hello, my name is Trey and I am from New Braunfels Texas. I am currently in my senior year at Texas A&M studying animal science. My goal is to graduate A&M and go to veterinary school where I will want to specialize in physical therapy for animals. Caring and helping animals is a strong passion of mine and I hope to continue that not only through Kingdom Animal Hospital but as well for the rest of my career.

McKenlee Herd, Kennel Tech (top)

I was Born and raised in this area ! Showing cattle and living on a farm in Edge,TX. I have been with Kingdom since April 2017, I began my journey here as shadow for my vet med class at Rubber High School in the fall of 2016. I am Currently a sophomore at Texas A&M majoring in animal science. I have 3 dogs and cat of my own that I love dearly.

Howdy Yall ! Born in Corpus Christi and moved to Uvalde at 9, before making my way to BCS. I have always had a love for animals and raised all sorts of animals including livestock, dogs, cats and native wildlife. I started my career in the veterinarian world when I was 17 years old as a kennel tech moving up to a vet tech. In April 2014 I became a certified wildlife rehabilitator through the International wildlife rehabilitation Council and a certified veterinarian assistant level 1 and 2.

Nancy Robinson, Receptionist (top)

I have been in the veterinary field since 2012. I came to work here at Kingdom about five months ago. I have been privileged enough to work as both a veterinary technician and a veterinary receptionist before joining this amazing team. My heart has always been with animals and consider myself extra fortunate to be working with such a dedicated, caring, selfless group of people who feel the same way I do. I couldn't imagine myself anywhere else. In my spare time I enjoy being with my family, reading, and hanging out with my six dogs and three cats. I also enjoy volunteering in animal rescue and other various organizations.

Dean Matters, Kennel Tech (top)

My name is Dean Matter and I am from a small town in Northwest Ohio. I graduated from PIMA Medical Institute with an associate of applied science degree and became a Licensed Veterinary Technician in 2017. I served 10 years in the Marine Corps as an Intelligence Specialist before making the transition to working in the animal health field. Before joining the team at Kingdom Animal Hospital, I worked at an Equine Hospital and before that I worked at an animal clinic in Houston. Currently I am taking classes at Blinn and working on completing my Bachelor’s Degree. When I am not working or taking classes I am spending my time with my two daughters and training for my next Marathon. I am very happy to be apart of the team here at Kingdom Animal Hospital and look forward to helping out with your pets health care needs.

Lisa Brown, Receptionist (top)

Hi, my name is Lisa. I am native to the area, lived here all my life. I have been at Kingdom Animal Hospital since June 2018. I have 3 dogs that I spoil as much as I do my three boys. I have been around animals my whole life and have always had a soft spot for them. I love my job! I think the best part is our clients and our patients. They each hold a special place in my heart.
