Alex Pruett

Dr. Alex Pruett is from San Antonio, TX and attended Texas A&M University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Sciences graduated cum laude from the College of Veterinary Medicine & Biomedical Sciences in August 2014. In May 2017, Dr. Alex achieved her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine. She worked at Brittmoore Animal Hospital for 2 years before moving back to Bryan/College Station. Her special interest is in reproduction and animal behavior. She enjoys problem solving with clients to help them achieve their goals. Since she was a young girl she’s wanted to work with animals and is very excited to be working with the team at Kingdom. Dr. Pruett enjoys training and breeding dogs, and her choice of breeds reflect that passion for dog training. Australian Shepherds, Border Collies, and Labrador Retrievers that have excellent structure, trainability, health, and temperament are qualities that are extremely important to her. “Pike” is a 3-year old Australian Shepherd and one of her current competition dogs. Currently they are training in Agility, Obedience, Rally, and Conformation.
